Obama declares H1N1 Flu Emergency

Under the Bush Regime, it was color-coded terror alerts. During the Obama Regime, it will be periodic scares, concocted public health emergencies, and warnings of domestic unrest. All are designed to keep the public in a perpetual state of fear in order to keep us distracted from the real shenanigans being done behind the scenes by the Dark Forces. So what's the current scare a cover for this time? See the previous post about Ben Bernanke proposing to reduce America's standard of living to the level of most third world nations. In fact, just yesterday, Bernanke asked for additional powers from Congress. It's ironic that he wants more power to regulate when he failed to do an adequate job with the powers he already had in the first place.

Obama declares H1N1 emergency

Washington (CNN) -- President Obama has declared a national emergency to deal with the "rapid increase in illness" from the H1N1 influenza virus.

"The 2009 H1N1 pandemic continues to evolve. The rates of illness continue to rise rapidly within many communities across the nation, and the potential exists for the pandemic to overburden health care resources in some localities," Obama said in a statement.

"Thus, in recognition of the continuing progression of the pandemic, and in further preparation as a nation, we are taking additional steps to facilitate our response."
